I'm a children's book author, digital designer, business consultant, and mama who created Jack-a-Roo to inspire a lifelong love of stories while helping young children understand and navigate the everyday emotions and experiences of early childhood.

Originally from England and now living in Evansville, Indiana, I draw inspiration from both places when creating the world of Jack-a-Roo. My son, Jack, is the heart behind the stories and inspiration for the Jack-a-Roo character, while the landscapes, wildlife, and everyday moments that surround our family help bring his adventures to life. The meadows, woodlands, and watercolor scenery reflect the beauty of the English countryside and the Lake District I grew up with, while the rabbits that visit our backyard, the groundhog living beneath our garden shed, and the peaceful pond behind our home often find their way into the pages of my books.
